Because Children Matter was created to assist programs and agencies to engage and remain committed to Continuous Quality Improvement. We strongly believe that families and children who have access to quality and comprehensive early childhood education and family support services increase their opportunities to succeed in life. Every child and every Family should have access to these services regardless of their background and the zip code in which they live.

My experience includes over 18 years of experience working in Head Start, Migrant Head Start, Early Head Start and the newest Early Head Start-Child Care Partnerships grants. My time spent working with programs in several capacities and roles allowed me to develop and refine skills, knowledge and experience in the following areas:

Additionally, I have been a Head Start and Early Head Start reviewer for the last 10 years and was vetted as Implementation Planner for the Early Head Start-Child Care Partnerships grants by the Office of Head Start and the Office of Child Care

Partner consultants are available for special projects including mock reviews (fiscal and services), program self-assessments, community assessment, review preparation, mentor/coaching, and focused program improvement. Consultants are selected based on areas of expertise and excellence. Consultants are only offered based on program need or program request.
