About Us
Years of Experience
Elizabeth Rodriguez founded Because Children Matter in Los Angeles in 2014. The organization aims to continuously help programs and agencies improve and/or expand their services. We provide expert guidance and assistance to early childhood education organizations, including Head Start, Early Head Start, and childcare providers across the United States and Puerto Rico. Because Children Matter strongly believes that access to quality early childhood education and family support services can significantly increase the opportunities for families and children to succeed.
The organization has successfully written grants and secured over $40 million in federal, state, and private funding. Recently, Because Children Matter opened their own childcare centers, Noah's Place, at two locations and now operates early learning child centers within eight County Courthouses. The organization firmly believes that every child and family should have access to quality services, regardless of their background or zip code.
